Drama At One Tree Hill College Reaches New Heights

The newly upgraded One Tree Hill College Performing Arts Centre will be officially opened on Thursday 27 October 2011 with the opening night performance of 'Candide'.

One Tree Hill College Year 12 Drama students are proud to present "Candide: The Mis-adventures of an optimist." Gifted to the college to use by Unitec Performing Arts School where it was created. This is an adaptation of Voltaire's novel. Candide is a comedy about a young man who searches the world for his long lost love after being thrown out of his Castle. He meets an array of colourful and often dishonest travel companions as he clings to misguided optimism.

Candide will be directed by HOD Drama, Marcus Stuart, and will be performed for the community on:
