Japanese School Visits One Tree Hill College

On 1st August 2010, One Tree Hill College hosted 15 Japanese students from Mito Commercial High School for ten days. The visit was primarily an opportunity for the visitors from Japan to experience life in a New Zealand family and learn in a New Zealand school.
Students were 'buddied' with One Tree Hill College students and an amazing cultural experience eventuated. As one student said, "We have made friends for life!".
One Tree Hill College hopes to develop the relationship further in 2011 and have an exchange for One Tree Hill College students to visit Japan in the future.
