One Tree Hill College's Rockquest Band, SERVN8 were placed third at the Auckland Regional finals on Saturday night after performing their two original songs.
They were the most popular band and received the loudest applause from the large crowd and were the first placed band, only beaten by two soloists.
The band certainly performed with distinction and with all students returning to college next year, 2011 will surely be their year!
Unfortunately the third placing is not good enough to send them through to the national finals - only the top two placings go to Hamilton for the national finals.
