|| May 27, 2020

Penrose Rotarian, Colleen O’Conner presented the management of the One Tree Hill College 1st XV Rugby Team with 25 limited edition World Cup rugby balls on behalf of The Loop Duty Free at Auckland Airport. The presentation took place at a recent Rotary breakfast held at the college. Ms O’Connor who works at the airport said. “When The Loop Duty Free management asked for schools to donate the rugby balls to, I immediately put forward OTHC’s name, and fortunately I was successful with my request.” Co-coach Hamish Berbick gratefully received the 25 World Cup Rugby Balls which were balls left over from the last year’s World Cup promotion. On accepting this generous donation, he added. “It’s great to have this support for the College’s 1st XV team and we are truly grateful.  It now means that all players will have the means to practice their individual skills.”  The team, staff and management are very grateful for this donation, and on behalf of One Tree Hill College wish to thank The Loop Duty Free at Auckland Airport for their generosity.
