|| May 16, 2017

On the 9th of May, the New Zealand Diabetes Trust came to One Tree Hill College to talk about diabetes, and its impact on the community, students and families. Organised by Mr. Williams and the Science Department, the purpose of the event was to create a context for Year 10 students to assist with their NCEA Level One assessment later in the year, where they are able to receive credits to bank for next year. Mr. Williams states: “Giving students the skills to make knowledgeable decisions is key to successfully making the challenge of diabetes.”
