One Tree Hill College Excel at the ASB Polyfest

Three One Tree Hill College cultural groups performed at the ASB Polyfest which began on Wednesday March 12.  The first students to perform were the Filipino group.  Their faultless performance of  'Carinosa' was well received by the large crowd. 'Carinosa' is a popular folk dance of the Philipines and is of Spanish origin.  The Filipino cultural group are pictured below.

The Maori and Samoan groups performed on Friday March 14 and were both first on their stages at 8:00am and 8:15am respectively.  A young Maori group were exceptional in their Kapa Haka and are pictured below.  The student led Samoan group were also exceptional in their performance.  Their traditional dance was put together and led entirely by their student leaders.  They are also pictured below.
