Year 10 Freedom Day

The annual Year 10 Social Studies freedom day took place on Friday 13 November.  As part of an NCEA assessment the students organised lunchtime activities to raise awareness of the refugee crises currently being faced both in Europe and worldwide particularly during the recent troubles in Iraq and Syria.  The lunchtime event was followed by a special assembly where Amnesty International congratulated the students for running such a successful educational activity.
