Bay of Islands History Trip 2016

On the 30th of March 2016 a group of year 11 and 13 history students headed up north to the Bay of Islands to investigate the historical town of Kororareka or as we know it. Russell. The trip was an incredible learning experience and put students in good positions to carry out the assessment that followed. The trip involved museum visits, a visit to the famous flagstaff, and a close up view of where the Maori fought the British so many years ago, and more.

A huge thank you to the teachers who came on the trip; Miss Hughes, Mr Jenkison and Miss Adams.
