Positive Behaviour for Learning - PB4L

|| April 4, 2016

Strive @ OTHC, otherwise known as PB4L (Positive Behaviour for Learning), is an initiative created by the Ministry of Education, focusing on rewarding and teaching positive behaviour. At One Tree Hill College, we use three of our school values, Respect, Responsibility and Excellence that is evident among students, resulting in positive behaviour. There is a staff as well as a student team consisting of 9 staff and 8 students of different year levels. Students are divided into various groups to help promote this initiative and certainly make OTHC a better place. Coordinator Daryl Blincoe says that “Strive @ OTHC is an exciting opportunity that allows students demonstrating positive behaviour to be rewarded, as they are often overlooked by those who are ‘stubborn’ and do not receive as much attention as they really should.”
