Shave For A Cure 2016

The Shave For A Cure event took place in the school auditorium during the end of term one. The purpose of this event was to raise both awareness and money towards Leukaemia cancer (cancer of the blood) which many people all over the world suffer from. The teachers who took part in this had been fundraising individually for numerous weeks, and doubled the $1500 target and in total raised $3309. A huge thank you to Mr Stuart, Mr Williams, Mr Kourtner, Mr McWhinnie, Ms Crawford, Mr Kumar, Mr Green and Mr Lanner, for shaving their heads. The hairdressers for doing an amazing job, and to the students who came along to support those who participated.
