Upper North Island Netball Champs 2016

One Tree Hill College is over the moon to announce the trophy is back in our cabinet and one step closer to reaching our goal!!

The girls put all their hearts, bodies and determination into the final game of the competition by defeating Mt Maunganui College  35-30 to win the North Island B Grade Championships. The girls were amazing! So after winning C Grade last year, now B Grade, we gain entry to where we belong- A Grade for 2017.

Not only did we walk away as the Champions of our grade we also had three girls named in the tournament team.

On top of that Ofa won best overall defender of the tournament and Jabulani won best overall midcourter.

Congratulations to the whole coaching team, led by our director of netball, Ashleigh Ryan. "As a squad I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of girls. Every game they remained undefeated and were the talk of the netball courts. Our eye was on the prize at the beginning and they pulled through." We have such a bright future in netball.
