Year 10 Freedom Day 2016

|| November 16, 2016

On Tuesday 8th November 2016 all Year 10 students had the opportunity to take part in Freedom Day. Freedom Day is a chance for students to take action for human rights, in partnership with Amnesty International. This year’s freedom challenge was on raising awareness on Yemen’s brutal conflict. The United Kingdom and the United States are aiding the destruction of children’s rights and safety to education by supplying weapons to forces in Yemen.

The Year 10’s did a fantastic job at raising awareness on this issue and raised over $1500 to support Amnesty International.
