Academic Excellence Awards 2017

This year, the Academic Excellence Award assembly took place in the 15th of February to honour the senior students who achieved Merit and Excellence endorsements at Level One and Level Two. 114 students were presented with silver Merit endorsement badges and gold Excellence endorsement badges, and several parents came over to watch their child. Over twenty at Level One and 15 students at Level Two gained an Excellence endorsement, an incredible achievement that requires hard work and perseverance. With students NCEA Level One, Two and Three having more than 85% pass rate, One Tree Hill College students continue to set the bar high for the many more successes to come. As an award winner myself, I was really pleased to see the number of students that were awarded badges - it showed me the potential we as a student body can achieve if we work hard enough.
