Year 12 Business Studies

As part of their inquiry about their course content - 2.5 Topic of Motivation Theory, the Year 12 Business Studies class recently travelled to the Spookers Haunted Attraction Theme Park in Kingseat, South Auckland. Students were enthusiastic about the trip and seized the opportunity to ask insightful questions, investigate different viewpoints within their framework of motivational aspects of work, and were completely engrossed in a proactive learning environment. They also took the opportunity to take charge of their own educational experience. One student referred to the trip as a “collaborating experience that allowed me to engage in my learning whilst grasping a perspective so unique to the topic that it furthered not only my understanding of motivation within a workplace, but motivation fueled by relationships.” Students would like to thank their teacher Mrs Blakeborough for organizing such a worthwhile trip for them.
